Andres De Anda
Attorney
Andres De Anda is committed to helping injured workers and their families navigate some of life’s most difficult challenges. His practice focuses primarily on Defense Base Act claims, representing civilian contractors who were injured while supporting military operations overseas.
Many of Andres’ clients worked in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other conflict zones in essential support roles, including transportation, food services, maintenance, and logistics. These workers often experienced life-changing physical injuries or psychological trauma resulting from dangerous working conditions in active war zones.
Andres’ own life experiences have shaped his approach to practicing law. After being diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, Clear Cell Sarcoma, he developed a greater appreciation for resilience, perseverance, and the importance of helping others during difficult times. Those experiences continue to influence the compassion and dedication he brings to every client.
He believes that listening carefully to each client’s concerns is the foundation of effective representation. Andres understands that taking on large insurance companies can feel overwhelming, but he is passionate about giving hardworking people an opportunity to stand up for their rights.
Andres earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas State University. He is licensed to practice law in Texas and has served as an Eagle Scout while also holding leadership positions with the National Lawyers Guild and the Latinx Law Students Association.
When he’s not practicing law, Andres enjoys cooking, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. He appreciates the collaborative culture at George P. Escobedo & Associates and believes teamwork ultimately leads to better client representation.
